How do I sign-up for an Academic Free account Just click on the 'Get Free' button above. We only need a few minimal user details from you and you're off! My email address is not recognised as being from an academic institution. What do I need to do now? We recognise the email formats of most academic institutions. If you organisation is not known to use, please let us know via [information@euretos.com](mailto:information@euretos.com) or by clicking on the 'Contact Us' button. How do I upgrade to an Academic Plus account? Just click on the 'Get Plus' button above and fill in your details. If an email address is already in the system as a free user, we will upgrade the existing account. You won't lose any of your previous work! What does ‘Non Commercial use’ mean? You may only use your account for non-commercial, academic research. We define this as follows: 1 - You are part of a non commercial organisation (such as an academic organisation) and 2 - the activities you are involved with are without the aim to gain commercial advantage or monetary compensation for providing paid services, therapies or products. You are also not allowed to re-supply or give access to the platform to anyone else but you. What is a Budget Code / PO Number? Do I need one to take an Academic Plus subscription? If you take an Academic Plus account, we assume that your organisation will pay the license. In most organisations you will need some sort of budget code or purchase order number that mention on the invoice we send to the person that approves the invoice. If you don't need such as code, you skip the field, it not mandatory. Do you track what I am doing on the platform and do you share this with anyone? We will never share your information with others unless obliged for instance for meeting legal requirements. We only keep track of what applications you open at what time and for how long. We need that information to manage the platform. Apart from that we don't track what you individually do on the platform. For Academic users (Free and Plus) we do store the search terms that have been entered so we can analyse search trends. This is however stored without reference to the user. This information is used to help improve the service. For corporate users we do not store any search terms, also not anonymously. Is the information I store in the platform safe? Can anyone see the information I upload? The information you store in the platform is very safe. It is encrypted and stored separately from all other data in a secure data store. Not even we can read it. Do you create a profile of me, for instance to show me ads? No, we don't create a profile of you as it is our policy to store the minimal amount of information on our users. It is not our intention to display adds.
