  • Lead statistical geneticist: Due to the fast growth of Euretos, we are looking for a skilled genetics scientist with a strong background in statistical analysis to join our platform team. The successful applicant will develop and execute large-scale omics data integration strategies focused on expanding the human genetics capabilities of the Euretos platform. Apply now!

    Your Responsibilities

    • Lead the expansion of human genetics capabilities of the Euretos platform to gain insights from genetic data relevant for drug discovery
    • Integrate clinical, disease and population genetic data and genotype-phenotype relations from biobanks in the Euretos platform

    Your profile

    • University degree, preferably a PhD, in human genetics or a related field, with a strong background in statistical analysis of genetics data
    • Hands-on experience with large-scale genetic sequencing data and its functional interpretation
    • Solid understanding of statistical methods relevant for human genetics in the context of disease and relevant phenotypes
    • Experience with genetic and phenotypic data from biobanks is an advantage
    • Expert programming skills in Python and R
    • Demonstrable experience with statistical analysis in R and Python.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage projects and work with cross-functional teams
    • Strong English writing and communication skills

 

  • Bioinformatics scientist – transcriptomics/proteomics: Due to the fast growth of Euretos, we are looking for a skilled Bioinformatician to join our science team. As a bioinformatician in our science team, you will develop and execute large-scale omics data integration strategies in order to expand the capabilities of the Euretos AI platform. You will support contract research with the leading pharma, biotech and research institutions worldwide in order to enable discovery of novel drug targets. Apply now!

    Your Responsibilities

    • Lead the effort to integrate cancer transcriptomics and proteomics data from public sources.
    • Work closely with Euretos’ research consultants and our clients to provide intuitive interaction with the data in the Euretos AI Platform.
    • Work closely with the data science team to develop standardized workflows and accurately incorporate the data in the Euretos knowledge base
    • Support contract research with data analysis on transcriptomics and/or proteomics data.

    Your profile

    • University degree (PhD or MSc) in bioinformatics or related field.
    • Expert programmer skills in Python and/or R
    • Strong statistical capabilities and proven experience using statistical analysis packages in Python and/or R.
    • Demonstrated scientific knowledge of cancer biology
    • Experience with analysis of proteomics data
    • Experience with transcriptomics data and differential expression analysis
    • Expertise in querying (cancer) data from public resources, such as TCGA, cBioportal and CPTAC.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage projects and work with cross-functional teams
    • Strong English writing and communication skills
